about me: hi! i'm soms and i'm an adult with any pronouns (they/it describes it the best). i like working on my ocs' stories and i might've overcame my language anxiety

i don't believe you can describe a person fully by their personality type, but if someone finds it's helpful i'm ENFJ 2w3! my stories tend to contain some psychological stuff (like characters being heavily based on defense mechanisms) so if you want to discuss it i'm more than glad to help because i feel like i have a responsibility to balance the uncomfortable aspect with some understanding or hope, that's generally how their story goes

i also want to say i appreciate every bit of feedback, even if i'm mostly doing it for myself i still want to inspire at least one person to work on their aus/ocs and go crazy with the worldbuilding and stuff, it doesn't matter if you're doing it perfectly and canon compliant or not, it's cool as long as you're doing it yourself. be free, respect others, project into your characters and turn gestalt into a sparkledog. so. yeah!

about the au in general:

for now the focus is on the scientists, as the nexus core is always the reason behind everything, but eventually it will be focused on different characters with their own stories and different lives being stitched together, since it's based on the arena mode's origins. i don't have plans to make it really canon compliant and include every origin, because it's a personal au, so it's mostly about the characters i created here or about some random thoughts and observations i had!

i see the arena mode imprints as their own S-3LFs combined with something else, a very different dimension that acts as their personal memory storage that allows them to safely retain their experiences and memories while their physical shells are being given to the nowhere to be forever deleted from reality… so that's convenient for this kind of narrative. they still remember who they were, retain their personalities, but they also obtain the memories of the imprints they once were. and maybe now they can see the eyes they had, the smiles they lost and the acceptance they haven't felt in a long time

so, in short, sometimes this story is more about the people themselves than the universe around them! but i definitely won't rush myself, because good lord that's a lot of pages to draw
