does anyone have psych fic recommendations without spoilers? i want to read some so bad but i really really don't want to spoil myself because im loving watching the show for the first time

im at the beginning of season six right now, and part of me just wants to rush through these last episodes so i can start being a part of the fandom and watching the blooper compilations and video essays, but part of me just wants to go slowly and enjoy the moments

so like, even if it's like " this one is really good but you need to watch 6x14 so you don't get spoiled" it'd be something i can enjoy sooner than just at the end of the series

and ofc if you have stuff for after season 8 too im all ears but please please please tell me it's for after because i really don't want to be spoiled

OK SO, I got a question! in episode 6 of season 4, Bollywood Homicide, does Abigail know that Shawn is a fake? follow me on this, I’ve put some thought into it.

in the beginning of the episode when he’s walking her through the police station and showing her around he’s also pointing out these little “areas” to her and calling them certain things like:

“This is my "I told you so" room, where I like to gloat after a completely wild accusation turns out to be spot on. That's my "oops" corner, where I apologize to people for being arrested after a completely wild accusation turns out to be just that.”

like, he’s admitting right there that he’s not certain of the things that he says 100% of the time because he’s putting it together right there on the spot after seeing things all day, because I think that if he was keeping the act up then wouldn't he phrase it more like:

“This is my “I told you so” room, where I like to gloat after a spirit’s enlightenment turns out to be spot on. That’s my “oops” corner, where I apologize to people being arrested after words from the spirit world are misleading and turns out to be just that.”

Like up until this point in the series he’s always pulled something like that with Lassie or Jules when explaining something to them or trying to get them to listen to one of his hunches! (OH MY GOD I am in love with the idea that Abigail called him on his shit minute one of their relationship and laughed at him as he tried to lie to her and make excuses and then fell for her more when she didn’t call it quits on him right then and there) go back through any episode up until that point and he always puts on a show or really plays it up to get them to buy into his ideas and certainties. And she doesn’t even bat and eye at him!!! like he says all that shit and the only FUCKING THING SHE REACTS TO IS THE COMMENT ABOUT FREE GUM! like just fucking forgets about all that previous shit right then and there; like that’s the way you react to something when you know absolutely everything about the situation. you’re completely in on the secret and how he thinks and handles everything that you just nod and go “oh yes, sounds exactly like you” like bitch i’m dead over here.

BUT ALSO in episode 2 of season 5, Feet Don’t Kill Me Now, when Shawn and Gus meet up again when checking out the boyfriends hideout and he surprises Gus and starts to talk to him and explain why he’s there he puts his finger to his head when he says that he “found Ben” and Gus calls him out saying that he know’s Shawn’s not psychic and Shawn pauses and says “Sorry buddy. It’s hard to keep track of who know’s what.” LIKE BITCH at this point in the series there are only so many people that we can tick off on our HANDS that know or don’t know, so who the fuck you talking about Shawn?? Plus he was just with Jules all day and was probably thrown off his game because he couldn’t be completely honest about how he was coming to his answers or finding the pieces of evidence--or even searching for the evidence--so he must’ve shorted out his brain from constantly putting his finger to his head as a precursor for any information that he was about to spit out after looking at the evidence in front of him!

but going back to the original point, I would absolutely say that she knows. I mean look at the way the rest of the season went with her always being able to bat his jokes right back to him and not fall for the show that he puts on when he’s trying to sell his act to the police OR in the final episode when he rescues her from under the bridge and she ends up breaking up with him telling him that his job’s too dangerous for her. I mean, there is a huge chance that I am so far off, but that’s what speculation and theory is for right? but please, tell me your thoughts! I would love to hear them!
