Cigars are about the memory’s you share not the money you spend. Last night got to hang out with a great group of people. People who are all successful in there respective fields but all of which strive for more. They hold each other up and drive forward for more. Last night we laughed, discussed life, business and the importance of being a “good person”. We of course shared these stories over cigars. Which day would prefer to have? I woke up this morning at 3:25am to make my cross country flight. Plenty more complaining to be done getting thru through TSA and the airports... (yup and a layover) Not to mention having to fly SouthWest airlines (the smallest seats!). When I land I won’t have time for lunch as I have two important conference calls back to back before I can rush over to where I am hosting dinner. Most likely I will barley eat there because I have to play host. Then, hopping into my rental car to drive 1.5hrs to Napa. It’s a brutally long 20hr day with little food and no rest. OR... Today is such a good day I’m laughing. I got to wake up early and beat the rush to the airport. I got Business Select on Southwest so that was a breeze to get a good seat. When I land I have two important calls to make that will meaningfully impact PuroTrader (new features coming! 😃). Currently headed to San Fransico to dine with some clients at one of the finest sushi restaurants in the city. Then after dinner heading up to Napa for a few days. Between wine tasting in Napa I will be teaching a private class on pre-embargo cigars at one of the finest restaurants in the world.... You decide what day your having. Happiness is a FRONT end decision. Make a choice- Life is largely a matter of perspective. I choose to be grateful for the amazing opportunities I have. To be humbled and grateful for my friends, family and all of you, My #PTFam. Choose positivity, it always wins out in the long run. Keep and eye out for my stories and IG TV over the next 48hrs. Fiannally a quite moment to smoke with some friends. Cigars have this amazing ability to build community where ever you go. Today’s paring is truly #GotRare The coffee is Black Ivory coffee which is the worlds most expensive coffee at $85 per 35 grams. That’s two modest cups of coffee tops! This coffee is consumed by elephants, their digestive track “processes” the cherry and passes through the coffee bean. Then it is hand harvested afterwards. The acid in their stomach removes any bitterness and reduces the acid levels. This makes the coffee sweet, floral and buttery smooth. I paired today’s coffee with a very rare Davidoff Oro Blanco which retailed for $500 a cigar. This Tobacco was the last tobacco selected by Zino Davidoff himself back in 2002.
