the settings arent exact, most especially for the lines, but it’s the closest i got with the old sai settings HAHA

apologies for the slight inaccuracy, i haven’t used the old sai in a long time so it’s a bit messy

I have a lot of brush settings but ill post my most used settings.

I use a really thin line for line art and sketches and color in a lot of layers!

my basic highlighting and shading pen

the same as the first one but i only use this if i want it to look more paint--y (if you get that)it’s also what i use for blushes in my work

To any other people that use Paint Tool Sai

What is a natural-looking pen setting? I'm inking this comic and I am considering digitally inking it but the pen tool is a little too sharp for my liking. I guess just something that looks like a physical pen? If there's a setting out there that someone knows about I would l o v e y o u .

Decided to post my brush settings in Paint Tool Sai in case anyone was curious. Sometimes I do adjust the B/D/P for different textures/smoothness, but for the most part this is how they are 90% of the time. Also note: I work on a  [big] 2000 x 2500px canvas. For coloring i just fill in with flat colors, then shade with the watercolor tool. Finally, I overlay this texture on the final piece in PS.

I don’t use the “round” brush often, but when I do it’s for horn details/scales and for quick sketching.
