im looking for a fanfiction about john being scared of fireworks? sherlock is in the middle of a case and found a lead, john wouldn't normally go out on fireworks night as it reminds himself of the time he spend in the war but he does this time for sherlock. john starts having some sort of panic attack and sherlock calms him down, is the enough to go on?

Do you have any fics where either John or Sherlock have a panic attack and the other helps them calm down? Or just hurt/comfort in general

Lucky for you, anon, I just went through my history earlier and found a couple! All are John, however. Sherlock having a panic attack is a little more rare, in my experience.

On most days John didn’t really mind that he was a half-human, half-dog hybrid: he had an excellent sense of smell, the ears on top of his head could hear a lot better than those of an ordinary human being, and his long tail helped him to maintain his balance, as well as indicate his mood far more effectively than facial expressions alone. Everything was different on New Year’s Eve, though, when the whole world went mad with noises and lights. John was getting more and more restless, barking and whining in turn, unable to find any peace. If only Sherlock would at least come home from that bloody lab and provide him some comfort! What an insensitive git.

Hey, I was just wondering if you had any fics where John gets triggered into a flashback on a crime scene or where something happens at the yard and john turns from cuddly jumpers and jam into full on army doctor mode. Thank you <3
