Bleach Stains on My Heart

Toss your dirty laundry into my washing machine heart, Tumble dry and fall apart...

and even when denied I know,

it was you who tore it all apart,

bleaching out the color,

whitewashing the stains on my heart,

forgetting in the forgotten,

and everything once said.

Don’t worry, For that part of me now dead, lifeless, wrung out, strung out,

you took away the nightmares that cursed me in my head, You shook them out and hung them to dry in front of all and everyone’s eye,

bleached and shredded by your lies,

tumbling around me and burning my eyes,

with tears I’ve cried,

but for you I won’t cry anymore.

Now I sit and suffer for all that you once said,

hanging in your shadow, a memory now dead.
