Hi! I don't know id requests are open, but if they are, can I get how Gavin would react to an mc who is so small that she can't leave the house on windy days because in fifth grade she got blown from one end of a park to another and she hasn't grown much since? It's a true story and I just need to know how BirdCop would react, lol. Thanks dear

⇢ Characters: (MLQC) Gavin, MC/Reader
⇢ Genre: Fluff
⇢ Word Count: 0.25k
⇢ A/N: Hi, thanks for sending this in! My requests are technically not “open” since I’ve barely written on here haha but I take it you liked my one (1) piece here enough to ask this so I gave it a shot. It’s more of a drabble than a “react” analysis thing. Hope you enjoy it and happy holidays!
⇢ Description: As long as Gavin’s there, nothing can hurt you.
“Look at that,” you comment with a sigh, your eyes brimmed with longing as you gaze out the window. Gavin wraps his arms around your torso and rests his head on your shoulder, staring out as well and trying to pinpoint whatever holds your attention.
“What is it?” he asks finally.
“Look at how the trees sway in the breeze, the leaves swirling in the wind. It’d be nice to enjoy the feeling of wind through my hair like everyone else.”
Gavin ponders your words. Like everyone else? Was he missing something here, or was he just an airhead?
“...What do you mean, ‘like everyone else?’”
“I’m... small,” you lament. “In fifth grade, I was so small that I was no match for even the weakest of winds and I was literally blown across the park—hey, don’t give me that look! I’m serious!”
Gavin suppresses his smile when you pin him down with a sharp glare. “You’re silly to keep worrying.”
“E-Excuse me?” you huff. You try to pull away from his embrace, but he simply holds onto you tighter, his lips curving upwards into an easy grin.
“Maybe the wind was harsh to you then, but that was before I came along.” Goosebumps rise along your neck as Gavin slowly slides open the window. Your eyes squeeze shut as a gust of air enters, but Gavin’s hands planted firmly on your shoulders along with the gentle feeling of the breeze caressing the pair of you has you relaxing instantly.
“See?” He says, planting a soft kiss to your shoulder. “When you’re with me, you’ll always be safe.”
