this is just like. me scraping the surface of the barrel and also only looking for the type of car im renting right now (im open to any of them) but it’d be nice to know what to look for and what not...plus i already know this car gets good gas mileage so that’s a plus and also i know how to drive it bc im renting one rn so ive got some practice in

I see. I watched the spanish dub and I'd say the voice acting was actually pretty top notch even now but my only complaints or nit picks is that Ikki 's voice is a bit strange sometimes (having someone else for him would be fine) they had very obvious adults try to sound younger for the kids in flashbacks (though they actually had kids voice them in the Hades arc and they sounded fantastic) and all the women give exaggerated sounds when fighting or hurt idk who directed them to do that.

Really ? That’s good :D I think it’s easier to appreciate when it’s not your first language, so maybe I’ll check out bits of it someday >w<

Tbh animes french dubs are almost always despised by french people, most of the time it just doesn’t sound natural/convincing at all X’)

Ah, I didn't know you were French. :0 Does that mean you watched the French dub of Saint Seiya? And if so, how would you describe their voices?

I’m way too young to have watched the thing when it first aired, so to tell you the truth I had to look up a bunch of videos to make sure because the only glimpses I caught of the 80s dub were from french YTPs so.

Basically it was… weird. And unfitting. Seiya sounds super mature, Shiryu either doesn’t or sound like a 50 y/o, same for Hyoga, Ikki like a comical cartoon villain, and Shun is ??? I just can’t describe it

Also, the VA changed a hella lot throughout the thing, and some were mistaken as women (*cough*Shun*cough*Mu*cough*Aphrodite*)

However, I remember watching and thinking that Hades’ dub was pretty nice.
