rare ship in a rare fandom (not sure if this should count as my “rarest,” because there’s almost no fandom for the anime…): beryl/chrome, cluster edge

rare ship in a crossover fandom (not sure if this should count as my “rarest” because, you know, crossover. some people can persuade others to their ships, crossover or not, and i don’t happen to be one of them, oh welp): chris/kiyoko/miyuki, daiya/hq!!

rare ship in a fandom of moderate size: chris/mei, daiya

rare ship in a mega fandom: ...i honestly believed there would be a ton of fanworks for them after season 2, but i’ve found hardly anything. maybe i’m looking in the wrong places for: shiro/thace, voltron: legendary defender

Your oldest ship; the one you’ve shipped for the longest time?

that’s a good question. i mean, of all time, going back to when i was 10 and my dad gave me the lord of the rings trilogy to read… eowyn/me. ha ha ha, no, but that’s honestly the first time i remember shipping anything. i even wrote fanfic of it, although obv. i never put it anywhere public.

but that one is unlikely to count for various reasons. so! i think taichi/yamato, digimon edges out trowa/quatre, gundam wing.

Favourite thing you’ve ever created for a ship?

ah ha ha… this one is 1000% impossible for me to answer. it would even be difficult to answer for certain ships, let alone across all of them… (but if you want to ask me for a fandom or a ship, i will amend this with my best effort of narrowing it down. :3

predictably, i’m having a hard time with this! if you were to ask again in a year (or even an hour...) the answer might not and probably wouldn’t be the same---but in the moment, i’ll say only several miles from the sun (haru/makoto). it’s the most emotionally fulfilled makoto i’ve written, and that’s a lot of what i want for that kid. ❤ i think i didn’t say holding hands (sousuke/makoto) mostly because i haven’t properly completed it. (also,sorry, rin... some day i will write something that means something for you and makoto...)
