As we continue with our Wild-West theme. Here a bunch of cowboys and assorted gunslingers.

The big guy with the hat and the bottle was made by "Reaper Miniatures" (https://www.reapermini.com), while the guy with the saddle on the back was made by “Stronghold Terrain” (https://stronghold-terrain.de/products/stronghold/dmh-collectibles/). The rest was made by "Pulp Figures" (https://pulpfigures.com).

Anyway those happy little guys and gals were part of a cool scenario my Call of Cthulhu players had to navigate through to get to the King in Yellow. It was sooo much fun. :-)

Got my order from Pulp Figures, including a Great Lakes tribesman from their “Dracula’s America” line. They’re actually very nicely scaled with the Northstar Django figure and regular 40k dudes.

And now for a group of Indian/sheik NPCs and maybe thugs that my players will encounter in their travels through India. 

I just love the minis “Pulp Figures” (https://pulpfigures.com) makes. They fit the 1920s very well and are pretty versatile. I also like their “old” look. They really do look like they were made by hand in the 60s. :-)

Well and now for some real thuggees. I mixed some kind of islander pack with a indian thuggee pack to create the human followers of Shub-Niggurath that my players will encounter in India. They worship Shub-Niggurath in mistaking her for Kali. The thuggs were, by the way, a brutal cult in India that worshipped Kali and murdered a lot of people in their sleep so they could rob them and bring those riches to their temple as a sacrifice to Kali. I thought that that gave me a good basis for a Cthulhu story.

Anyway, as before, these minis were made by "Pulp Figures” (https://pulpfigures.com) and are just perfect for Call of Cthulhu in the 1920s. :-)

These guys here are my “indian” soldiers. I gave them red uniforms, though I know that that is not historically correct but I liked the color and wanted to remind my players of the former british colonial status of India. 

Over their trip through India they will see the difference between western civilization and the more tribal indian countryside. I am not an expert on these issues but I have some knowledge on Indonesian tribalism and shamanistic culture and of course indian religious believes.

And now for another one of my players. This is Anora Finchfledgely. She started out as a simple barmaid but became so much more. She lost her mother to a Tcho Tcho cult, was able to safe her body but her soul was trapped within the dreamlands. In Anoras search for her mother, she quickly started to loose a lot of sanity. 

The groups trip to Carcosa was another devestating experience for Anora as she was not able to look away from Hastur and instead fell into his infinite eyes and touched his essence. 

All I can say is, now she is no longer a barmaid. Her Cthulhu Mythos is somewhere in the range of 50 - 55 and thus her grip on reality is definitively slipping fast. She now knows some spells and was a servant of Hastur for a while (will post her “changed” form next week) that just through some very lucky dicerolls did not wipe the whole group. 

Anyway I gave her a way out of the Hastur worship. Now she is serving Bast and can summon Wolverinelike claws that deal magic damage and has a nice little cat called “Ba” (Power) that can turn into a gigantic sabretooth tiger.

I don´t know how long she will be able to continue in the group because of her high Cthulhu Mythos, but we will see.

Well as for the mini, that was made by “Pulp Figures” (https://pulpfigures.com). They are my goto when I need cool looking and useful Call of Cthulhu hero minis.

Continuing with my Call of Cthulhu campaign. Let me introduce you to one of my players “Isaac O’Conner”. This burly big man is interestingly played by one of my friends who is also a big and burly man. :-)

Anyway Isaac O’Conner is a Inspector from Scotland Yard and an incredibly able shot. His connections with the police have helped the players in numerous occations. 

If you want to picture his character, imagine the typical hard-ass cop out of a 80s movie who shoots first and asks questions later. He carries an arsenal of weapons and has, by now killed, a bunch of Byakhee and cultists. 

Also he was one of the few who managed to not loose his mind when seeing Hastur in is chaotic glory. Anora, his fiancee, on the other hand looked deeply into the essence of Hastur. What will have come out of this, only time will tell. :-)
