Yay, horses!!! ... Is what I would say if that one on the right didn't have the freakiest looking raised lip ever. Like why is the arch pointed??? It looks more like it has a cleft lip... For once, the original anime art definitely did better in this regard lol. However, the rest of both horses is definitely better than the original. Same goes for the rest of the art, actually, which is an overall technical improvement where linework, shading, and detail is concerned. I don’t really have all that much else to say here, other than that this art specifically makes it more clear that the carriage is exiting from a portal of some kind (you can see the ripples around the top of the pumpkin), and the pathway made of light underneath the horses is much more visible.
