that's so cool that you were a fan of Khan before Ben! I'm the opposite, as I was introduced to Ben through Sherlock, but Ben's performance in STID really made me see what a fascinating character Khan is!
It's lovely that you became really into him despite being new to the character! :D<3 The more Khan fans the better, and an influx of new ones is always needed!
In my case I was initially terrified at the thought of a new Khan. lol I was SO afraid they'd screw up and maim a character I love so much. So I approached it with near terror, despite how much I'd adored the first reboot movie. lol I was so afraid that the first one was a lucky accident and that they'd be unable to make the second one as good.
But then STID was so amazing (even better than the first!) and BC was so utterly wonderful as Khan that I was absolutely delighted. Becoming his fan was inevitable after how wonderfully he played Khan. :D<3
My happiness with STID was such that it prompted me to start this tumblr. X3
