The frustration and irony of being royal in Young Royals is that you have the status and breeding to be a good leader that people will follow, listen to and respect, but you're not allowed to use that privileged status to make a stand for anything or anyone.
The role is an empty shell. It has no substance. It maintains its status by being deliberately neutral and spineless.
A revolution can not take place from inside the system.
To paraphrase Wille when talking to Farima: "so we won't do anything until it looks bad if we don't do anything."
All change only happens through external societal pressures and public opinion.
