cracked this out just to test a new type of paint i haven't used before (i do Not have the hang of it, i made the mistake of trying it out on matte black board so like... Hard Mode all the way... aaaiiieeaauugghhh...) but. he is sort of a character now. Modular Martyr. Anything-Saint. just a blank little puppet, neither are-nor-ain't... the friendly intercessor that you need, a pal for all purposes & in-tents, in-deed...
The new flesh is plush and soft like felt, it looks like sesame street.
Manipulation (Oil on canvas, 1993 (age 18)) LOL, that title; what a gloomy little bastard I was. This is actually a marionette that used to hang on the wall of my brother's bedroom, though its eyes were open and it smiled. This is to date my only oil painting. I actually like oil as a medium, but hate the high-maintenance of the paint. I don't think I achieved anything with this, other than pure cheese.
