D-Don't chase the rabbit..
This place was always so cold, but when winter hit, the place was practically freezing. The statuary was no place for a young child to grow up in. It was an old abandoned temple in the woods that rarely saw any traffic passing by. Everyone avoided traveling so they wouldn't get heckled by toadies. Anyone who did travel avoided the forest for superstitious reasons.
It was a terrible place for a child, but a lovely safe haven for a liberator.
Still, the wind cut in through the open walls of the main call and chilled the snowy white stone walls until the little warrior was shivering in their resting place. All alone and curled up against the base of one of the many blank statues, they shuddered in the cold.
They tried to sleep, but the icy temperatures were keeping them up. Their fingers were going numb, and the feeling of a set of paws didn't register until the feline had curled on top of them. The little creature was warm and they instanstly huddled around him, shivering and making small noises of comfort from the shared heat. The Judge's dear brother joined him, and they were all three soon huddled up and warm enough to doze off.
It was a terrible place to be a child, but it was definitely a fine place to be Zacharie.
