"And what about physically?" The words are out of her mouth before she can think about what she's saying, and she can't find it in herself to regret it. Maybe later.
Ellie didn't intend for it to be a challenge, but as the words sat between them, she knew they were, and that she was FINE with that. Was he just saying the words, or could he put his money where his mouth was? Either way, Ellie takes a step towards him before he can answer — just a small one, the distance between them in the library still considerable.
"Julian, come here." This time it's less of a challenge, more of a soft command, which sat oddly well on her delicate voice.

The last thing she ever wants to be associated with is destruction, and definitely not destruction like that. Fire... Chills her to the bone.
"Is that... Good?" It didn't feel it to her, regardless of their intentions. She wanted them to think of her, only her, always her, but not like this. Elinor pulled away from Asra, tucking her hands under her arms and hugging herself. “I don’t know what you want me to say.”

“Hold on--please don’t move!”
Barely a day or two after arriving and Dracula’s outliers were already swarming the city. With their forces obliterated in Wallachia, they’d spread across to other principalities, and the county of Vesuvia didn’t seem much better off. The forested area that thickly encompassed its borders had been thriving with their ilk, this demon in particular a chiropteran that screeched its challenge. Beating its leathery wings with a snap, muttering a hasty invocation did three enormous fireballs strafe it, too swift to dodge, before the third dislodged it from the sky where it fell noisily into a tangle of vines and topiary, Sypha edging cautiously towards it.
There was no way of knowing if it was dead or not if they didn’t see for themselves first, a look of caution cast towards the ivory-tressed man nearby.
