About Crit Role: they will be playing a bunch of other games and one shots for a while letting other cast members that want to try being gm have a chance. then in a few months (so matt can prepare the campaign) they will start a new campaign 20 years in the future on the continent of wildemount with fresh (lvl 3ish because matt doesn't like the grind of starting all the way at 1 with nothing) characters. hope that helps clear up for those who haven't been keeping up with announcements

I heard they were gonna give the others a shot and just keep playing! I’m glad it wont be a dry spell completely, wasnt sure on the time lapse length between campaigns. Is it Wildemount? I heard Marquet too but now this makes me wonder if they’re going to run into Tary at some point. As much as I would love to see them flounder at level one that makes more sense to start at level 3 haha.

Thanks for the "sorry if" vs "sorry that" post, never thought about that and i will try to be better about that

there are people with good intentions who do that without knowing, its okay. 

but in general, say you knock someone over and they skin their knee. they say it hurts. would you go up to them and say “i’m sorry if i hurt you, it was an accident”? no, because they told you it hurts, there is no if. saying IF makes it seem like “im sorry that you think i hurt you, but i didn’t.” instead, you’d say “i’m sorry that i hurt you, it was an accident” you’re acknowledging the fact that you did hurt them, and actually apologizing. 

same thing goes for emotional hurt as well. even if you hurt them unintentionally or through a misunderstanding, they’re still feeling that hurt.

and like, we all slip up sometimes. even i do, but im catching myself more. years of gaslighting behaviors does that to someone haha
