[CLEANS] The sender takes a cotton swab and gently cleans the dirt and blood from the receiver's wounds.
She never had been one to back down from a fight. Sometimes, her lack of fear and affinity for fight over flight was what got her into trouble. This was definitely one of those times. All the wolf wanted was to get a few shots after work, which took every shred of patience she had left for the night as it was. Pretty sure she had a dislocated shoulder, the small woman entered the bar with a look on her face that dared even the stupidest of fools to test her tonight. Unfortunately, some men, like the one who had approached her despite the warning she was wearing just in expression and body language alone, just didn't take the hint. Needless to say, he propositioned, she declined by telling him to kindly, buzz off, pal. He persisted, as they do, and she continued to decline, getting more and more irritated and the man got more and more pushy. Ultimately, the exchange led to him grabbing her harshly, saying something along the lines of enjoying his company tonight whether she likes it or not. Obviously, this didn't go over well and as he dragged her by the bad arm off her barstool and out the side door exit, it left her good arm free for a solid right hook to his ribs which made him let her go but also made him angry. He looked like a bull ready to charge, if she didn't know better she'd swear she saw steam emit from his nostrils. He was a big guy but that didn't frighten her. It just meant he'd fall harder when she kicked his ass and she'd relish in watching him hit the pavement. He very clearly didn't have qualms about hitting women as he struck her with a few solid blows to the chest, head, and stomach. She wouldn't have been surprised if had practice and an ex wife somewhere, in hiding or in a cemetery with how caring and gentle he seemed. She held her own, though, eventually getting the upper hand as she used to side of the bar to launch off of, pushing herself up high enough to wrap her arms around his neck firmly enough to knock his ass out but not tight enough to kill him. It wasn't until a familiar voice sounded behind her and she turned to see Danny standing in the doorway as the big brute dropped to the ground, with the satisfying thump she'd been anticipating.
"What the fuck is goin' on out here?" "Oh y'know," she wiped at her bleeding nose and spat out the blood pooling around her gums. "Bar fight between Fester Molester and the wrong girl to try to kidnap." "Get the fuck in here, Moon-Moon." He grabbed his terror twin by the hand, pulling her back into the bar and straight upstairs to his apartment.
He sat her down and moved hastily to grab the first aid kit he kept in the bathroom, a gift from Piper that he rolled his eyes at when he received it, until it started coming in handy. Moms really do know everything sometimes. He emerged with the kit, rummaging through it to make sure he had everything she'd need, along with rubbing alcohol and cotton swabs. The lion also grabbed a bottle of whiskey off the counter on the way back and handed it to her. Shaking his head as he sat in front of her, he wasn't even disappointed, more just impressed that she managed to win that fight. "You should've called me when he started manhandling you. I'd have kicked his ass out before--" "You weren't around. I wasn't just gonna scream in the middle of a bar. That's weird." She twisted the cap off the bottle and took a big swig. The heat felt good in contrast to the cold bottle against her skin where she rested it. "I handled it." Danny poured some of the alcohol in a disposable cup and proceeded to dip a cotton swab into it before beginning to clean the fresh wounds on the woman's face. She winced as it touched the open cuts but it didn't matter. Nothing she wasn't used to by now. "Moon-moon," he said with an odd combination of sternness and softness only he could manage as he pushed a strand of blood coated hair away from her exhausted eyes. "You look like shit." He tried to lighten the mood around them, sensing the existentialism coming from his terror twin. He could see it on her face the type of night she was having, fight not included. "Yeah," she nodded, agreeing with him as she took a shallow breath. "Feel like it too." He continued cleaning her up, making sure none of her cuts and scrapes were deep enough to need stitches and luckily, they hadn't. Her shoulder however, was in rough shape and realistically, she very likely had a concussion and potentially, a cracked rib or two. Danny hated seeing her like this, especially when he knew he could've prevented most of it. But he hadn't even seen her come into the bar and was doing inventory when the douchebag dragged her out. He'd be having a nice long chat with his bartender about that as well, making a mental note to inquire just how the hell he let a woman, let alone one of his best mates, be pulled and almost kidnapped right in front of him. Although the wolf would swear up and down it wasn't the bartender's fault, he wasn't even looking at them when it happened. Regardless, he picked up his terror twin and carried her into the bathroom to continue cleaning the rest of her up and helping her change into comfier, looser clothing. He texted his staff that remained downstairs and told them to start closing up without him and he'd be down shortly to help. "I have to finish up downstairs, but then it's you, me, whiskey, and movies for the rest of the night." And lots of water, but he wasn't going to say that out loud to her. Danny picked her up again, this time bringing her to his room and setting her carefully on the bed. He covered her up and turned on the tv and his xbox. Handing her the controller, he placed a kiss on the top of her head. "You play some games for now. No sleep for the concussed, a'right? Stay awake and wait for me, I'll be back soon." She nodded, fiddling with the plastic controller as he walked back towards the door. "Hey Simba," the wolf's voice was quiet, but she knew he could hear her anyway. He turned to look at her, about to ask if she needed anything when she spoke again. "Thanks.." He smiled, winked at her, and replied, "I've got you, Moon-moon. It's what we do."

some one word prompts . \ @pridexlands - Danny
“I think th’floor is..um.. tilted.” She assessed as she stumbled over her own feet, although careful not to drop the bottle in her hand. She might’ve overdone it a bit tonight in all honesty. It was a rough night so her plan to come home and drink herself stupid began earlier than she planned when she decided to stop at a bar on the way home. Sure she was seventeen but she saved the owner’s son awhile back from certain death so he took her ID for what it said and didn’t ask questions. She was only going to have a few drinks but a nice man at the bar bought shots for everyone and then challenged her to a tequila line. She won. She didn’t quite start feeling it until the fifth shot but after another round of whiskey it began to hit her. Fast. She clung to the bar for awhile to keep upright. Usually her tolerance was pretty high, but having eaten very little all day and then hunting for several hours straight, her body was reacting more like a human than a wolf. “Shit,” she slurred as she tumbled off the bar stool to find the bathroom. On her way back, the man who bought the tequila shots decided to help her back to her spot and started talking to her, although what he was saying wasn’t registering in her inebriated brain. She wasn’t really hearing him flirt, just far away words about how he liked a girl that could hold her liquor, etc... when he started getting grabby though, she shrugged away and told him she wasn’t feeling well and she was calling it a night. He pushed to let him drive her home,to which she declined, though he wasn’t taking no for an answer very well. At some point when she was ready to throw a punch his way, he was pulled backwards and shoved roughly in the opposite direction. She tipped her head, thinking it was probably the owner until she saw blonde locks and an angry familiar lion face in the crowd. She stumbled forward again, grabbing her phone and almost tripping over, well, nothing. But the floor was definitely tilted... yeah... “Danny.” She reached for him, happy to see him as she ‘walked’ in his direction with a zigzagging gait. “Danny! Hi! Hey... what’re you d-doing here?” This time she did trip but luckily enough, the lion caught her easily before she could come close to the floor. He lifted her off her feet and she wrapped her arms around his shoulders. “This floor’is tilted.” she nodded before letting her head fall on his shoulder. “Hey, y’should get a drink with me. I know the owner. He’s nice.” But he ket walking away from the bar and outside instead. “Hey..where’re we goin’?”
♕ = bowing down before them . (in their one verse, of course. because he knows it drives her crazy)

“Oh. No,” Her back stiffened uncomfortably as he lowered himself to the floor. She may have finally taken her familial and “rightful” place in her father’s Kingdom, but she did not feel that she should be bowed to. It seemed so unnecessary, in a setting such as this. Bowing seemed a tradition that should be saved for the battle -- a form a communication between leader and soldier in a large group. To be face to face with someone, especially this someone, bowing almost seemed embarrassing. For both parties. She knew that it had long been a form of respect from another, but it had always meant that the bowing party had less of a rank than those being bowed to and Snow did not feel as though she were any higher or better than any one else in their Kingdom. She was once just as much a peasant girl locked away as anyone else could have been. Just because her father ruled the land once, did not make her any more special than another person. Or any more worthy of the throne.
She placed a gentle touch on Eric’s shoulder. “Please, stand up. I told you, there is no need for that with me.” She did not want him, or anyone really, showing sign of being less than she. To her, they were not. He was not. “You do not belong on the floor, Sir.” Her awkward blush turned into a bit of a smirk as she tilted her head a bit and added in jest, “Come, do not pretend to have manners now.”
you’re a strong girl, i know. i’m proud of you. - uncle lion. so proud. so, so very proud.
KICKING THE SKY | STARTERS \\ @pridexlands \\ Danny
The words cut through her like a knife. All her life, she only wanted to make her family proud of her...to not make them regret taking her in. And then she went and became this massive screw up that she was sure had ruined everything for herself. How could they possibly be proud of who she was? Of what she was? It wasn’t just that she was a freak with semi questionable morals at times...but she let herself be manipulated and beat down, time after time, physically and mentally by someone who she was stupid enough to believe cared about her. Couldn’t get dumber than that, right? Chances killed, time wasted, and hope... well, forget about that. There wasn’t any. For him, for her... It was gone. She wasted so much time on something that was long dead...or should’ve been. She drowned out the pain in vices she wasn’t proud of and tried to bury memories with freshly formed bad habits. How could anyone be proud of that? He had to be lying, which made it worse. That or he somehow, might have even been telling the truth...which hurt that much more. “I--” She shook her head, trying to hold back the tears that stung her eyes. Thinking about the past year and a half, every stupid thing she’d done and all the shit and grief she caused and felt herself... “How? How can you say that? After everything .... I know you’ve seen the things I’ve done and .. all the stupid things.. You can’t.. Please don’t lie to me, Uncle Danny. There isn’t anything about me that’s strong. And there’s fucking nothing to be proud of. I’m.. just--you don’t have to say that when I know you don’t mean it.” I wouldn’t.
