Jeremy was far from alright at that point. His mother had found another man. After Archer's death, the Austin family was far from 'stable'. Mr. Austin himself had decided to up and leave the family one night after the terrible accident, leaving Jeremy and his mother behind in the dust. Now, she had moved on to another and married this strange man on whim, now he was being forced into this new home and got wind that a new child was in the mix as well. Fantastic, he thought, knowing far too well that his mother would try and take the female in as a replacement almost for Archer, but Jeremy knew far too well she'd be nothing more than a disturbance. 

Carrying a box into the new home, Jeremy began to grind his teeth together, "where's my room." He nearly hissed at the man he'd soon be forced to call 'dad.' "Up the stairs, next to Boston's room." The man smiled, trying to make a proper impression, far too late for that.
