HI hello! I just uploaded a vocal cover of an AFI song in honor of the 20th anniversary of their album decemberunderground! I wanted to share here the album art edit featuring a darkened version of my image color and new logo! I'm really happy with how this turned out heh
Last year I was like, "I doubt I'll release any original music as an idol" and now I'm straight up working on an EP. I'm working at my own pace right now so who knows when I'll have any updates, but I'm excited to be writing music again!!
I thought my computer was bricked, but I got it back up and running. We are so back, y'all. Time to get to work!!!!!!!
I've been sick for like two weeks at this point, please just give me my voice back😭😭 I have so many ideas and things I wanna do right now but I need mY VOICE BACK
I think my other social media accounts are about to get overhauled soon.
I know I should be relaxing on vacation, but time to myself just leads to planning because I don't wanna doomscroll lmao. So I have like a list of songs I really wanna cover regardless of deadlines, but it's super unorganized and a little overwhelming to look at. I set up a new list for only covers I wanna release for the rest of this year. So far I have 4 more songs I really wanna get done this year, including the one I wanted to release last month (Villain - Teniwoha). Two of the other songs are anime OPs, one is for an anime that's widely loved (and turned 20 this year??) and the other is hated and overlooked for the most part, but I love this anime so so SO dearly. And I have more English versions on this list to make sure I don't overwhelm myself by learning multiple songs in another language. I think this plan is doable!
My body just does not handle being sick well. I've noticed in recent years that my body goes straight for my throat anytime I'm sick and wrecks it for weeks after the fact. Last month I got sick again and while my body in general was fine, it went straight for my voice and I'm still not at a point to where I can sing clearly. Every time this happens, all my breath support that I've built up vanishes and I have to work myself back to where I was.
This royally screwed over the release schedule I was working on. I was planning on releasing another vocal cover last month, but I've only just recently gotten my higher range back after a few weeks of raspy BS.
