i can't believe Detective Conan has more than 800 episodes and is still ongoing it's basically the same plot every episode "here we are this fine day oh no there has been a murder time for this tiny child who is actually 17yo to solve it and knock out a conveniently located adult with tranquilisers so that they fall into a seated position with their mouth in shadow and use them as his mouthpiece with his voice-changing mouthpiece hidden in that bowtie he always wears everywhere ever" how do you make 819 episodes and counting of that, even if half of them are two-parters

okay so in one punch man the kid superhero, child emperor, is voiced by the awesome minami takayama who also voices conan edogawa from detective conan aka case closed aka one of the longest running anime/manga in existence seriously its right up there with dragon ball and one piece even i gave up on catching up with it at 800 episodes and more than 20 movies (she also voices envy from fma brotherhood btw ahaha go look her up she's pretty prolific) detective conan is basically about shinichi kudo, teen detective extraordinaire, running round solving crimes for the police until he gets involved with the wrong case. a couple of mob guys try to kill him with this experimental drug, but instead he somehow reverts to the physical body of a 10yo while maintaining his 17yo mind, intelligence and memories. so now he lives with his girlfriend sorry childhood friend (she's basically his girlfriend) and her detective dad under an assumed name although they don't know it's him. the only one who knows is this mad scientist professor friend of shinichi/conan's parents who made him a wristwatch with fucking tranquilliser darts in it so he can knock out his gf's dad (he's an ass it's ok) and use him as a mouthpiece for his deductions earning assdad a reputation for being really good now they get involved in wacky adventures all over the country- to the point where they can't even take a holiday off somewhere without running into a murder- or even getting invited by someone planning a murder so they can use the great detective assdad as an alibi (it never works idk why ppl keep trying this shit) ok got that? now go watch the 6th episode of the opm specials. it even starts off with detective conan's signature theme
