tbh some of my best ocs were made as a joke. but i have my small knight girl victoria. she started as “what if i make a really small girl a jouster. haha i bet that would be fun!” it’s not fun because she’s a bunch of angst tbh. her full name is victoria elizabeth von faust and will tend to introduce herself as that. she grew up on a farm but her parents suffer from a lot of debt and bankruptcy problems. it’s gotten bad enough that it has affected her quite a bit. she’s not illiterate but she does’t have the education that most people would. she loves Shakespearean plays and stories about knights. she never wanted to be a princess

her best friend is literally a horse, or rather he’s one of her best friends. she has a big, black horse that’s like twice her size named Llamrei after King Arthur’s horse. he’s a dork and these two are inseparable. she uses him whenever she does jousting competitions and what not. in all my verses with her, she doesn’t feel human. Victoria is very religious and a lot of times will sell herself in some shape or form to get money for her family’s farm. this is a farm that has been with her family for a long time. in one verse, she offered to be part of a experiment that basically turned her into a cyborg/android thing. so a lot of times she feels like she sold her soul to the devil and she has never gotten over that. 

she tries twice as hard to be noble and because she feels like she has to make up for the fact that she’s not quite “human” anymore or doesn’t have a soul. she takes on the role of being a knight and will do whatever is in her powers to protect the people she cares about, even if it is self sacrificing. 

oh and she doesn’t understand magic. she still thinks it’s witchcraft because her childhood friend (that isn’t an animal) told her a lot of stories about witches and the witch craze so she’s very confused about magic tricks and probably science-y stuff in general

             It was a casual thing to notice, the face he didn’t recognize waltzing into his class. Really, he made it a point to know his students so how could he not have noticed them? He chalked it up to either interest in Biomedical Engineering or maybe they were just tired and mistook his room for someone else’s. Either way, he didn’t mind and didn’t make a spectacle out of them for it. Instead, he went on with teaching his class. Right up until mid-way through, the newcomer caught his eye and piped up. This isn’t Calculus. If it weren’t for his professionalism, he might’ve laughed that it really was the latter of his two conclusions to be true.

“I’ll write you a note if you need to go to Calculus, however, you could stay and I could also write you a note stating I kept you in my class. Perhaps use this time to sleep a little.” He noted in genuine concern, really, it wasn’t every day someone wandered into his class and all but took half an hour to realize it was the wrong one.

Name: Takashi Shirogane. Nickname: Shiro. Age: 21 Occupation(s): Air Show Pilot ( During set Seasons ) | College Professor ( Biomedical Engineering [ Sub-class: Bionics ] && Astronomy ) | Self Defense Trainer. Defense Skill Set: Well trained in Aikidō, Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu, Isshin-ryū & Shaolin wushu.

Growing up, Shiro experienced an endless thirst for knowledge as well as an endless love for the vast unknown and the sky. Due to this, he studied rigorously and constantly geared towards sating his want for knowledge in Astronomy & Aeronautics. When he was very young, he witnessed a few of his friends being picked on and bullied, which sparked his innate desire to protect people. This lead him to start taking lessons in Martial arts to be able to defend them. Throughout the years, he took up many interests and projects but ultimately set out for a career in becoming an Air Show Pilot due to seeing an Air show when he was 9.

Many people asked why he didn’t want to just be a Military Pilot and he geared towards saying “I want to make people happy, not hurt them.” This showed in the way he took to defending others in away that posed little to no injury to their attackers. Having chosen his Martial arts skill set carefully to balance more on the defense scale rather than the offense scale. Due to his career choice being seasonal, with the exclusion of maintenance and practice, he took to learning how to teach instead of just being taught as well. With his constant progression, he ended up skipping grades rather often.

This didn’t bother him, as he was a bright and enthusiastic ball of sunshine that easily made friends with everyone in his grade. He kept in touch with everyone he spoke with and always cheered others on. However, he was saddened when he graduated even earlier because he had to leave his friends and join another program. In college at 15, he was increasingly nervous about not fitting in and having issues with the ‘adult’ classmates, though that was easily abolished when he actually spoke to them. He took to Majoring in Biomedical engineering with no Sub-class specialty chosen and Minoring in Astronomy. Outside of college, he was training to become an Air Show pilot with special permissions and permits.

When he was 16, he experienced engine failure during a practice run. The fuel injector had been fractured, sending him barreling with the drop out. During the accident, he couldn’t eject due to propulsion failure and ended up losing his arm with a scar narrowly below his eyes from the clash of metal. This resulted in Marie Antoinette Syndrome as well due to the shock, leaving him with the with the white patch of hair. However, after recovery, he returned to school and training without hesitation, eager to get back. Since he Majored in Biomedical Engineering and Minored in Astronomy, he began taking extra courses to include the Teacher’s Academia in his courses.

This also lead to him choosing a Sub-class specialty in Bionics. Over the next few years, he became certified in his fields and equally became a “Test subject” for many Bionics projects with his classmates. When Arms were the prosthetic project, he happily took to engineering an arm with others, putting up with several instances of being shocked and the like because hey it’s a learning process. At 18, he made his own prosthetic in the lab and sold the schematics to several medical facilities to amass enough funds to support himself for a while. This freed up a lot of financial ties to his family and aided in materials for various projects and aeronautical engineering.

When he completed his courses and training, he was 19. With the pressures of being a prodigy and the like off his shoulders, he was able to take a year to prepare for his first air show and perform with flying colours. His trademark being the several streams of coloured, and eco-friendly, smoke that he whisked and formed into the shape of a lion’s head mid-flight. However, he also took to starting up Self Defense classes in his free time to help support the community in being able to keep themselves safe. Even those who could not pay weren’t turned away and the pay he did get was in what ever they could afford when ever they could afford it. Between that, selling his schematics, and doing airplane advertisements and events for practice: He was able to fully support himself and his family without much difficulty.

After his first air show, he took a job as a College professor teaching Biomedical Engineering and Astronomy, only dealing with a few minor issues with being 20 and teaching people his age or older. His free time is spent enjoying himself and working on his plane, teaching self defense classes in the afternoon one day a week, and working up new aerobatic routines for his air shows. He also continues to design and dabble in prosthetic limbs that operate on a level with the biological standpoint rather than to simply replace the space lost. At 21, he’s still in the same routine and fairly happy.

His current project is working on reconnecting the nervous system to the prosthetic limbs so one could essentially feel with the false appendage.

I THINK IT’S FANON?????????? i think the only time that line was implied was in the beginning @ the garrison but i’m p sure it’s only implied

that’s the part i rewatched to see if i was remembering something wrong! but the line is like everywhere so i thought i was missing something big! it’s a heartbreaking line so i can see why it spread like wildfire haha
