“You’re getting crumbs all over my bed”

Dev scowled as she pulled the cover up even higher, the granola bar she had been munching on still in hand. “You’re washing your sheets anyway.” She pointed out before finishing the bar before he could say anything else. She stretched her arms over her head and relished in the delicious soreness that could have only come from their previous activities before letting out a little yawn and curling up beside him. She took his hand and wrapped it around her waist before looking up at him, features softening till there was only but a small cunning smile curling at the edges of her lips.

“Besides, I’d need my energy.” She said, pressing a kiss against his side. “I plan to make up for lost time.” She said quietly now, a strange vulnerability edging her words as she pulled him down for a kiss.

They had their fights, and there were days when they wouldn’t speak to each other at all... but like a magnet, they constantly found their way back to each other... She hated though how she always was kept wondering when they’re be torn apart again.

“well this is awkward”

Baz froze, along with all the other initiates and fellow sentinels, their new recruits (a bunch of twelve and thirteen year olds) looking just as surprised that they had been caught (and why wouldn’t they, they weren’t being particularly stealthy). Baz’ eyes went round as he slowly lowered the wooden sword, the training hall now a mess.

“I was training them.” He attempted to explain, though the scattered toilet paper and faux war paint spoke otherwise. He turned to the other sentinels for some back up, which none of them provided.

Another tense silence passed before he let out a sigh.

“I’ll clean it up.”
