I know you're not big on Green Light Ride (I think Crush 40 stopped being great a long time ago as well) but after listening to the remix by the Quemists (it plays when you're in the garage menu) I think that version fits the energy and atmosphere of TSR better. Do you agree?
I absolutely agree. The version of Green Light Ride that plays in the garage is a much, much better version of the song. It’s actually listenable!
It’s also more in line with the music past Sonic Racing games have had, with So Much More from Bentley Jones, and the songs Richard Jacques produced for Transformed. That sort of techno-y, almost Eurobeat sound.
I almost wonder if this was the style of music Sonic Forces was going for? It’s got kind of a similar vibe, but, like… significantly better execution in almost every aspect.
