im a trans lesbian
but not in the way most people think when they first hear transgender lesbian.
and gods no i dont mean trans lesbian in the transid sense fuck that
in fact people like me usually get excluded from lesbian spaces more so than the trans lesbians most people know, because we dont fit anyones idea today of a lesbian and we refuse to be forced to fit in a box. its either that or misgendering.
im transmasculine and transnuetral, not transfeminine, i use nonbinary as an unbrella term and call myself a guy/boy/man even jokingly because im much more comfortable with masculine terms, and yes im afab perisex(as far as im aware). im still a lesbian. i have always been and always will be a lesbian, a sapphic gay.
i could use pan or bi, sometimes i do, but they dont properly fit me. im gay and a lesbian and those labels fit me best.
im a trans lesbian, a nonbinary lesbian, and i wish for more of us alongside transfem lesbians to be included in lesbian spaces more. mspec and trans lesbians are lesbians, we've existed just as long as cis lesbians and we deserve inclusion too. not erasure, not misgendering.
this post is about nonbinary lesbians, transmasc/neu lesbians and mspec lesbians. do not derail.
