The QR-Code usage in the Philippines is silently attracting attentions from private companies and government institutions despite almost "zero" campaign effort from the government. QR-Code potentials in printed media are HUGE! Just by sharing your company website link by allowing customers to scan rather than typing the link is already a great time-saver and already becoming popular in posters, flyers and other printed ads.
