A Lesson On Not Following In Another Footsteps

 Everyone who has lived has left a footpath somewhere for someone to follow in. Regardless of how small or how large the path, they unknowingly leave it. We are reminded of the phrase “following in their footsteps” as a hint that someone is become like someone else who they are following, but is this truly wise or necessary? What if doing so, you become them and not yourself? What if, you loose yourself in their footsteps you become them and loose you as a whole? Then the question is “who are you now?” Are you who you once were or are you now that person who's footsteps you are now making? What if we are only to follow but not become one with the others footsteps? Imagine if those steps were only to follow beside, not in. Think of them as your guiding steps not the ones you must fill to become what you truly are. But don't watch so closely that you fall deeply off your own path into where you can't find where you are until the Spirits pull you from this mire of lost hope and back upon the steps you left from. The dangers are subliminal to obscene, from minimal to grossly beyond thought. You create your own if you stare too closely at where you are walking and not paying attention to where you are going. Learn to lift your head, watch not each step but the steps ahead of you. Lessons are within each step but the true Lessons are within how you walk within your path. Walk within your own and walk it with pride, not as a doppelganger of someone before you. You, yourself are on your own path, become who you are not as what you are told you are becoming. -rtf

Been a busy week so i haven't been on here much, got a back load of lessons to decipher and a few rituals to work on so I am a little on the slow side posting.. On a good note: I opened the gates of Path 32 in the Tree Of Life Monday so guess who's going to be doing path-working!!
