A peep #throughglass , without the rose-tinted coating This beautifully written piece on Medium (aren't they all?) by Theodore Ross is a light-hearted look at the way the young and the trend-setters must immediately own the latest gadgets, even if they're, well, not quite living up to the hype. It would certainly qualify as #tldr for some (26 minutes), but it's so worth it. Just to see the English language written so eloquently is one reason; the amusing story another. The follow-on article, very much in the same vein, is also worth a read; it's a bit shorter too.
