The Richmond Glasgow (now Tribeca)
I recently visited the Richmond, now known as Tribeca in Glasgow. As I already needed to go to the toilet this was my first port of call.
Firstly, I must apologise for the poor quality image of the group of toilets, my phone cover hides part of the flash nevertheless I hope it doesn’t ruin this user journey experience for you.
Loved the red brick walls, gave what can be a pretty mundane place a nice little uplift. The laminate floor worked well too, an interesting take on the usual bathroom floor. Albeit not as interesting as carpet. You’ll notice from the toilet it is a pretty standard toilet, slightly wonky and a bit small for the actual toilet so that sort of knocked it down a peg. Nobody likes sitting on the ACTUAL toilet and not the seat. It’s unnatural.
Overall I’d rate this a 6 on the quality crapper meter. It was clean and the walls had a cool New York loft feel to them.
Let’s hope Tribeca realise the good thing they’ve got down those stairs of theirs. Would definitely pee here again.
