a little exploration of Ahab's trauma from being forcibly restrained by his officers after losing his leg <3 yippee! part of the thing i've been calling 'good AU' (on ao3 as series "I Am the Captain of My Soul") aka "AU where Starbuck manages to convince Ahab to stop the chase and turn around and save (almost) everyone." It's not required reading for this fic, but if you want more of these two and the setup of how they survived, as well as some of Mossy's Excellent smut, there's that in the series lol (…i also have smut incoming, i promise. at some point. im working on it.)

THE CHASE, UNRAVELED — Chapter 9: The Unraveling

YEAHHH BOYSSSSS the starhab "good AU" (aka StarHab lives au) is trucking along!!! it's time to have an 8 hour breakdown <3
