Writing meme: 1 and 3!
What font do you write in? Do you actually care or is that just the default setting?
These days I'm using Garamond; I think it's close enough to the "default" (Times New Roman) to not be jarring, but it still looks nice. I don't actually care too much, but for some reason I like serif fonts a little better. Maybe my brain clocks it as "real writing" rather than, say, typing in Discord or here on Tumblr.
3. What is your writing ritual and why is it cursed?
Ideally: sit down at my desk upstairs with a beverage, light a candle, headphones on and music going, get to writing. The candle is a good "time to start" trigger (plus it makes my office smell nice), and the music helps me keep my focus. (Realistically I'm trying to get better about writing whenever and wherever I have the time, whether that's on my phone or tablet or in a notebook, but I try to keep this as a minimum daily ritual.)
It's cursed because I usually do this first thing in the morning and I use Microsoft Word. =D
Thanks for asking!
