Lost was going to be my summer show! Six months later and I’ve only watched 4 episodes hahaha

SAME! I was going to start it but I got the stomach flu and I couldn’t be bothered to watch anything. Then, my mom needed me to help her get everything ready for Christmas and then family came to stay with us in that in between Christmas and New Years and now I start school again next week so I don’t want to start it. ONE DAY!

honestly God bless the writers. Some people are so mad that we got Normero and then it all went to hell at the end of the season but honestly I feel so grateful that they gave us happiness for their characters…like damn. They did the marriage of convenience plus tension plus eventual love confession so well. I didn’t mean to rant on this but here we are lol

You are preaching to the choir my friend. I completely understand your frustration. Listen, I don’t want to get into an argument about semantics and shipping mother/son. It’s pointless. People will ship whatever they want to ship. What I find hard to believe is how it is not clear or not seen as a positive thing how much her relationship with Romero opened her up to a healthy relationship & gave her a chance to grow. To blossom into a person who doesn’t live in constant fear, can feel loved by someone who doesn’t judge her past, lets her dream and does anything in their power to make those dreams come true and gives her a real taste of what it means to love (I would insert here that scene between Norm*n and Alex in episode 8 of season 4 where Alex says to him that doesn’t he wish his mother had someone who is a friend, partner, lover, ect… To me, that piece of dialogue fully encompasses why her relationship with Alex is so important). Love in the only way Romero could provide that has nothing to do with the love between mother/son. That is why their relationship, to me, is so symbolic and refreshing. We see a side of Norma that is brand new (and a whole new side of Romero for that matter) that truly demonstrates that she’s never had this kind of partnership before. Within all the turmoils in her life, she’s never been able to fully unload all the crap she’s had to carry throughout the years unto another human being strong enough to handle it. Alex serves that purpose and I think the writers did a brilliant job portraying that. So rant away my friend. Besides, this relationship was hinted for three seasons and there was no other way to pair them up than what the show did in Season 4 and I loved it. Why is it so wrong to want to see a little light and happiness shine down on Norma Bates in the form of my favorite shady emo son Romero who looks like he too can benefit from a little love in his life? *wipes forehead* I too did not mean to go on this long rant but here we are.
