Never Make Assumptions About Setters

Hinata wasn’tparticularly the smartest person out there, especially because he didn’t have afilter. He just blurted out what came to mind without considering theconsequences. Often, of course, this lead to problems, but it never had beenthis bad. Because the worst thing you can say to a setter is that his job is “easy”.

It allhappened because Kageyama got distracted by the coach, yelling to Tsukishima inthe practice match to try and block their oddball. It threw the setteroff-guard, and thus, accidentally sent the soaring volleyball to Hinata’s face.It hit him with a slap, leaving out a “MHWAPH” or anything along those lines,as he crashed and tangled into the volleyball net. Of course, Tsukishima was laughingmockingly to the entire scene, but that wasn’t a surprise at all.

“Kageyama!”Hinata squirmed, falling to the ground as he covered his swollen, red cheekwith his hand. “That hurt! Do your job properly!” he exclaimed angrily. “Youhave the easiest job around here!”

Kageyamastopped dead in his tracks, giving Hinata a glance that sent shivers down hisspine. He knew he said something wrong, and that had upset the setter. “Whatdid you say?” Kageyama hissed, surprisingly calm, which made Hinata’s stomachtwist in regret. He felt like he was going to puke, but still managed to lifthis fists into the air and put a defensive stance up as the setter movedcloser, dark blue eyes looming at the smaller figure.  “Being a setter is easy?” Now, Kageyama wasovershadowing the small Hinata, who swallowed thickly in response.

“Well,”Hinata started, voice shaky as he tried to push it away. “You only have to senda ball to someone, right? Way easier than jumping and spiking it over the net!”He knew this wasn’t going to make things better, but he could try, right?

He couldsee Kageyama’s lower eyelid twitching as he grabbed a volleyball, his creepygrin playing on his face. Hinata swore he could feel the drips of sweat appearingon his skin and drip down into his shirt via his neck. He thickly swallowed,again, his heart thumping in his chest like it was about to explode.

“Fine, ifit’s easy, then,” Kageyama muttered, voice soft and cold. He threw the ballinto Hinata’s arms, who clumsily took it. “You do it. I’ll spike.”

Somewherein the distance they could hear Daichi protest, but Suga was calming him down,saying it’d learn Hinata (secretly Suga was mad as well, because no, tossingwasn’t easy and was most likely seen as the hardest thing on the field).

“Y-you’reon!” Hinata managed to exclaim, voice thick but filled with a new sort ofexcitement at the challenge. He’d show Kageyama wrong!

Well, thatwas easier said than done.

Noyaskillfully received the ball and sent it to Hinata, who was ready in theposition he was  told to toss. Henervously wiped some sweat of his forehead when he saw the ball falling intohis hands. Or at least, he wished it was. Instead, the ball hit his face,leaving out a “AWHMGPH” or something along those lines as the ball left hisimpact. He was going to feel this for the coming days. He fell back on theground, defeated as he hit the floor of the gym.

Somehow,the ball managed to find Kageyama anyway with a decent power. The ball hitKageyama’s stomach, leaving out a “Dumba-OWHPM” as he fell back, landing on hisbehind on the floor.

Kageyama managedto crawl up and make his way to Hinata, lifting him by his collar into the air.“Dumbass! You’re not supposed to receive the ball with your face!” he scolded,shaking the body. Hinata could only let out whines as he felt his headacheincrease.

“I take itback,” Hinata squirmed hastily. “B-being a setter is hard. Put me down, my headhurts.”

For once,Kageyama listened and placed him down, satisfied with Hinata’s apology. “That’swhat I thought, dumbass,” Kageyama growled. “Never make assumptions aboutsetting.”

idk do you count even though I know irl? xD Because of people I know irl there’s you, my sister theunimaginable1, speechless-avox, and hinatas-thighs

Then there’s also friends I don’t know irl but still consider friends: a-baka-fangirl (fellow knb trash \o/ she’s absolutely lovely!!), pik4chv (very very nice person she’s a lot of fun to chat with!), rouge476 (she has a collection of super cute and amazing OCs!! <3), and becausewhenyoupracticeyouimprove (Her Fairy Tail art is super super awesome!!)

hmmm, another thing I hate is when people act racist or sexist etc. with the excuse that it’s “Human nature”Like seriously that just means you’re too lazy to reflect on your own actions and quite frankly I find that disgusting…

Akashi plssss =P

Okay first of all the first time Akashi offered to go drinking with the rest of Rakuzan they’re all terrified because they can already see him going full-on spycho emperor mode but then when Akashi finally does get drunk it’s completely different. Akashi also has a really low alcohol tolerance because his dad’s really strict so he barely gets to go to parties and shit. 

Anyway when he’s drunk he will be in awe of so many things like he will spend like 2 hours talking about “How incredibly soft cats are??? Like how can they be so soft the lick themselves that’s all they do wth?? If I lick myself I won’t get that soft this isn’t fair.” And maybe it’s because he’s their captain or maybe just because they’re too drunk to care but the rest of the Rakuzan team and the rest of the GoM will just be listening intently like “omg he’s got a point there wth cats…” and it’ll be magical. 

Also he’ll use his emperor eye for one purpose and one purpose only and that is so he can reach the head of those giants so can pet them, damn it. 

Omg drunk Akashi is just a magical thing.
