I just love urban cottagecore. Growing herbs on the fire escape, foraging for flowers in community gardens planted beneath underpasses, upcycling dishes you find in cardboard boxes in front of your neighbor’s apartment complex, picnics with bodega groceries in city parks, thrifting dresses and sunhats at flea markets in parking lots, befriending the pigeons and squirrels and mice, hanging suncatchers in your basement unit window, taking buses and trains to deliver freshly baked bread to your friend in a different neighborhood, urban cottagecore
