Whether it was intentional or not (my money is on not), Marisha made one of the best sapphic trans girl metaphor characters I’ve seen
Laudna:
• makes a lot of small town folk uncomfortable
• is goth as hell
• has trouble believing she is beautiful
• has trouble believing she deserves love and happiness
• had a weird codependent relationship with the toxic woman who helped her transition (D)
• spent a long time not realizing the feelings another girl had for her
• was literally in a 2 year+ long romantic relationship and didn’t realize it
• might be married and doesn’t realize it
• has a literal deadname
