I am Theo and am a survivor of lifelong violence and displacement. I have spent my life fleeing, rejection, and persecution because of who I am. I have survived beatings, torture, sexual violence, detention, and repeated death threats for being LGBTQ+. I have never known safety. Today, in South Sudan, I live in hiding after violent attacks and open threats against my life, with no protection from authorities and no access to basic necessities. I lack safe shelter, food, medical and mental health care, and live every day in fear of being killed. I am urgently asking for compassionate donor support to help me survive, regain dignity, and access protection, safety, and a chance to live without fear.
