who of norita do you think makes a bigger deal of anniversaries and birthdays?
Feli, hands down. Although Nor can get quite festive on May 17th, donning his bunad and waving his lil flag around, it doesn't really compare to Feli's excitement around festivities.
I imagine Feli has an almanac in which he keeps track of all birthdays and anniversaries. If he doesn't know the person very well, he will send them a card, but if he knows and loves them very much he will surprise them with something extravagant. A home-made meal, a bouquet of flowers, a gathering of friends, a surprise party...
Nor doesn't like surprise parties, so Feli doesn't do that specifically, but he will make arrangements.
In order to not have arrangements collide for their anniversary (whenever that is, I haven't decided), Nor lets Feli know beforehand that he's arranged something, but he won't say what it is. It's usually a romantic dinner or a late-night walk, and definitely a gift, like a trinket with some symbolic meaning. Both of them like flowers a lot, so flowers will definitely be involved one way or another.
So they both like doing stuff for anniversaries and birthdays and such! Nor pretends he doesn't care about other events like Valentine's Day, but finds himself feeling flustered anyway when Feli presents him with roses. Nor likes to put thought into his gifts to Feli, to such perfectionist degrees that it sometimes stumps him. He worries that it won't be perfect enough for Feli, forgetting that Feli would be happy even if Nor presented him with a pretty pebble.
