GRIND LIKE A GIRL pages 11-14 (sixth installment) Trigger warning: There is some homophobic slurs thrown at me in this one. The 80’s in suburban New Jersey was not the safest time and place to come out as transgender. How we define and talk about these thing currently are different now, but within the story, I am portraying how my younger self would describe her feelings. There was no internet at that time and she had little information to understand herself and her world. This is the second-to-last installment of this chapter. I will be giving the first printing of this issue out at my panel with #StackedDeckPress for the all Trans anthology “We’re Still Here” at WonderCon on Sunday, March 25th at 10-11am. (as always, full pages are available for free on my patreon, link in profile. Consider becoming a patron.
