Why are Sunday's such a hot spot for tension?

Is confronting my thoughts and feelings while I sip wine and open my mind somehow a display of harm?

Why?

Because sleep aids?

Yes. Yes, it does.

But I will function despite.

I do not run away from that which plagues me

So let it unravel, freely.

I don't rip threads, but trace them.

What does not give, I will not force.

To spend this much time deconstructing and holding under a microscope every which angle and human approach...

To be questioned, insight after insight.

How do I go beyond: I know it because I see

Everything.

And that's never been an exaggeration.

And I'm miles from simply seeing.

A life of unwavering focus. Doubted.

The frustration, such that I cannot explain.

I am not speculating here.

This is no common state of being.

Or so the story goes.

Isabella’s full Query costume

Things to note:

1. Though Isabella has better aim and a steadier hand than she once did, and can fire a gun with some degree of accuracy, she prefers to use knives, because she can kill people faster with knives, given her super strength

2. Her police cap is genuine. She took it from the N.Y.P.D. locker room and removed the badge on the front. It serves as both an ironic statement, given that she works for the police force, and a tiny clue to her identity

3. She chose to wear a leotard because it’s easy to move in, and close fitting, so that no one can pull at her clothes in hand-to-hand combat. It’s dark purple, to connote royalty and luxury, and also because purple is her favourite colour

4. High heels wouldn’t normally be practical, given that most people find them difficult to walk in for long periods of time, but Isabella has very good balance and doesn’t feel pain, so she can wear, and walk in, heels as easily as if they were flats

5. When Isabella is in her Query costume, she always has her hair scraped back into a tight, low, bun to keep it out of her face and to stop anyone grabbing her hair in fight
