#question: themes

I want to start off by saying I really love your themes. I also really like the theme you have on King's Terrace. Are you going to make more roleplay friendly themes like that in the future?

Thank you so much! I’m glad you like my themes, including the one I created for Kings. As for your question, I can really give you a definite answer. The reason I create themes is because people like using them for character pages. I see them used all the time, and any of my busier themes seem to be the ones used less often. They’re not exactly the easiest ones to create, especially when I’m not positive what most administrators would want on their main. I find it hard to fill stuff in myself sometimes, so I don’t want to create something only a handful of people may be able to use. Not to mention, anyone using the theme would need knowledge of HTML/CSS, because I’m not able to make them customize page friendly with the style I go for. And since I prefer to make my themes easy to use and clean, it’d be difficult for those that don’t have that kind of knowledge. However, if you’re interested in something similar to it, you’re free to request a custom theme once I reopen them. I’m very sorry for the word vomit!

hello! this question is regarding your "over" layout! so, i have filled in most of the blog, but i am struggling with the text portion. do i fill in the information in the description, or is their a portion in the code where i fill it in. also, is the "song" portion about the blockquote a legitimate part of the layout, or just for the example. thank you!

Hi there! You should fill it out in the description section. The description on the preview is just an example and a way to show everyone what it’d look like. The pattern break is

and the rest is stylized text (centered, italicized and bolded). Sorry for the confusion!

Hi, so whenever I click on the link to get the code for your themes I get {"error":"Redirect failed"} (atleast it's how it was for theme 32-35) Now it could be my computer acting up but I wanted to let you know just incase :/

Thank you for letting me know! You’re the only person that has contacted me so far about it, and they work for me so it might just be your computer. Try going to my pastebin and maybe try selecting the code from there. Hopefully that will work. I’m sorry!

Hello. I'm still new to Tumblr RP and I am trying out one of your themes (#37 I think?). So far I love it, but I can't seem to change the background color from white and I can't figure out where the ask button goes?

Hi! I hope you’re liking Tumblr RP so far. The background color can be changed by selecting the color under the “background” option on the customize page. The ask button is already in place in the top navigation. It’s the middle one! If you’re still having issues then let me know.

Hi there! I know you're on hiatus but is there any way you could tell me how to fix the scrollbar on 'can't go back' please? it doesn't seem to be working for the posts.

I love the theme packs you advertise (thm x-x). Can I ask a question? Where do you get the patterns for the sidebar, post backs etc?. Plus looking around you site (since I love those types of themes), do you have or know of a base code for these? TY

On your nicotine theme, how do you get the little bars that look like the background pattern to separate text?

I love all of your themes, but I'm not sure how you do the accents once you've picked out a pattern on the patterncooler. Can you explain it to me?

I can certainly do my best! So basically, go through the selection of patterns. Choose one that you like and click it. After you click it, a bunch of options will show up. Click the color option and customize those to your liking. If you’d like to get a texture overlay then click “edit texture” after you’ve done your colors. I typically use fabric twill at 100% opacity but I make the actual size of it around 130 - 200. Once you’re happy with it, click the gray button at the bottom right-hand corner that says download options, and then download jpg. If that didn’t help then let me know and I’ll make a tutorial with some screenshots!
