Fashionably Uninvited
anonymous asked:
@asktheriddler "Honestly Ivy, isn't there a better way to keep this place safe? Those plants of your nearly killed me trying to get in. I thought I was invited! " He fell into a chair, right leg crossing the left, and looked to see where she was. It was always so hard to find her in here.

“You say that like I really did invite you.” Rolling her eyes, she allowed a vine to slowly lower her from near the ceiling, where she had been fixing a light bulb. “I said, ‘If you ever darken my doorstep again, you had better have a damn good reason.’ I presume you do, or else you wouldn’t be here…?”
asktheriddler :
“Dear Ivy, I thought we’d moved past all of that. I swear it was an accident. No real harm was done, not intentionally at least.” He straightened his back in the chair, which he just now realized was a mass of vines.
Her attitude did not defrost in the slightest. Landing lightly in front of him, she folded her arms over her chest.
“Talk. Unless you want to... not talk?” Though she said it with a suggestive smile, as if she would be open to other activities, the vine that began to slither around his throat told a VERY different story.
