One of the best, if not THE best Taylor x Lisa fanfictions I have ever ever read! No alt powers, no self inserts, no harem nonsense! Just some sexy, sexy, SEXY AU! And its not solely smut either!
The plot, humour and genuinely heartfelt and oh so human connections in the story have repeatedly driven me to tears. Furthermore the focus isn’t solely on teen romance or characters! Do be warned some of the beginning stuff with how Lisa talks w her shard is distracting but trust me, TRUST ME! It pays off and improves dramatically quickly.
It has the best characterization I’ve ever seen of Dragon, Miss Militia, Alec AND Rachel I’ve read recently and given how much I read that’s saying something!
Wake-up call is hot, sexy, emotionally engaging, hilarious and depicts the great human conditions so well the characters practically jump off the page. The story doesn’t take itself too seriously despite being genuinely just that good!
