How do multiselves work?

I've been curious about them for a while but all I really see is flags, I haven't found anyone talking about how a multiself fuctions or how to make selves etc. etc.

Really I kinda just want to know more about individual experiences and such

I'm also already a system host so I'm curious if I wanted to have selves how that might work
