"It's truly a wonder, something as simple as a spider bite and I'm a new man! Not only has the ache left my knees but look at these," he waved the palms of his hands frantically before Astarion. "A collection of tiny but strong hairs have grown, akin to a spider. I ought to be able to traverse any wall or obstacles in my way as if I were one of those eight legged fellows."
@galefcrce does whatever a SpiderGale does.
As hard as Astarion scrutinized the area Gale was attempting to draw his attention, he failed to see what the man was talking about. All he saw where the hairs a human typically grew. He subtly scented the air for anything peculiar. Was that? No, surely...
This was too good of an opportunity to pass up. He barely managed to contain the smirk threatening to break through. The mirth he felt at realizing how utterly smashed Gale was. The paragon of control had given in to mortal vices. Scandalous. "Can you now? Allow me a demonstration of this new found ability of yours? I'd love to see you try."
If only the tadpole hadn't robbed him of one of the few perks of being a vampire. His own ability to scale walls without a care to gravity or physics. He had to wonder... had Gale licked the spider?
Oh.
Just realized that if we break up, I literally have no one that I can talk to about my life anymore and will no longer have a best friend or someone close to me.

Míngqín used to play mahjong with the other orphans back at the orphanage, and was much better at it than them but still let them win sometimes. To make it even just a little more interesting they would use small pebbles as betting money. So now she finds playing mahjong comforting as it's one of the comforting things in her past.
