This Asparagus Quiche Pizza is the perfect brunch option. It combines the flavors of a classic quiche with the convenience of a pizza. The creamy egg filling, tender asparagus, and cheesy goodness make it a delightful choice for any morning gathering.
Ingredients: 1 pre-made pizza dough. 1 cup fresh asparagus spears, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 4 large eggs. 1 cup heavy cream. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1/2 cup diced onions. 2 cloves garlic, minced.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 425F 220C. Roll out the pre-made pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onions and minced garlic, saut until softened, about 2-3 minutes. Add the asparagus pieces and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they start to become tender. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Spread the sauted asparagus mixture evenly over the pizza dough, then sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top. Pour the egg mixture over the ingredients on the pizza dough. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the crust is golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve your Asparagus Quiche Pizza hot and enjoy!
