Wooyoung (The World) unbothered king treats rejection as part of the process. Yunho (The Devil, The Emperor rev.) doesn't take it well, is very cold and unapproachable after it, wouldn't be surprised if he wanted the revange 😭

Seonghwa (King od Cups) takes rejection with maturity and doesn't fuss about it at all. San (Knight of Swords) is bitter with his words after rejection and can have argument with the other person.

Mingi (9 of Swords, 2 of Pentacles) is embarassed and keeps overthinking the situation. May use some unhealthy ways of coping with stress. Jongho (8 of Cups rev.) and Yeosang (8 of Pentacles) are getting as much rejections, but Yeosang deals with it better, while Jongho is actually hurt because of it.

Hongjoong (3 of Cups) takes rejections well thanks to his friends he can vent to in time of need.

I figure I should use this blog to keep track of my own readings as well as giving them. This was today’s draw.

I find it interesting that the magician is the first card I pull in the New Year. I see this as a good omen, and I think this year will be full of new ideas, inspirations, and opportunities for me.

Wanted to do a quick reading on what BTS’ Grammy experience will be like... but so many cards wanted to jump out... so not as quick as I intended but hey...  I’m going to try and keep it brief... If anyone reads this and wants to know more you can send an ask~

I’ll start with the cards that just jumped out and wanted to be seen for the quick reading (you can just read this bit if you only want a general idea... there will be more under the cut); the Queen of Wands, The Hermit, The Star, the Three of Cups and Death. 

Basically, the energy I get here is that they come in like the Queen of Wands... I feel boss energy... They look gorgeous and radiate confidence. They’re magnetic. Everyone is going to be super attracted to them... like they’re going to be veryyy popular, with everyone trying to get close to them. However, they themselves will feel somewhat isolated and keep to their own group (The Hermit). I feel like they are very wary of some of the attention and they kinda only trust each other... I will get into that more later because some other cards back this up. 

At the same time, this really does feel like a dream come true for them (The Star). This is a magical, surreal experience for them that they can’t quite believe is happening... They are really going to enjoy themselves and celebrate this achievement (Three of Cups). It feels like they’re moving into a whole new chapter of their careers (Death). 

Ok, so these are the cards I actually pulled (as usual I pull in pairs for clarification on the message of each card); Seven of Cups and Strength, The Fool (Reversed) and Nine of Pentacles, Ten of Swords (Reversed) and The Lovers, Page of Swords and Four of Swords (Reversed), and Eight of Cups and Page of Wands. 

 So, like I said before about them being wary... they really are... This Seven of Cups is kinda giving me two messages here... Firstly that a lot of people are basically checking out the seven of them and considering them like “Hmmm... who do we want”... both in romantic/sexual ways and also business ways... and the boys will sense that and be on alert. However, this Seven of Cups is also telling me that the night presents temptations of many kinds to them too... However they will be strong (Strength) and they are definitely not going to fall for any of it. 

The Fool Reversed and Nine of Pentacles... I love it! They’re not walking in like rookies, or like little boys looking up to Western artists. I told you... it’s BOSS energy. They know that they are big names in themselves and they will be looking the part. That Nine of Pentacles... Oh... I feel more confident that the stylists won’t let me down. They really are going to be out there looking beautiful and expensive...sighhh...

Then we got Ten of Swords Reversed and The Lovers... This is going to be a nice experience for them overall. They don’t need to worry about being taken advantage of or messed around (I think largely because they are smart enough to be wary of the right people and trusting of the right people). The people they link up with will be cool and they will establish some good relationships going forward... possibly making some tentative plans for collabs and projects with other artists. I also think these cards represent the dynamic within the group itself being very harmonious right now. 

Ok but again, they are super on alert (Page of Swords and Four of Swords in Reverse). These cards are telling me that their minds are razor sharp during this thing... They’re carefully watching and learning from everyone they meet. Definitely not just passively enjoying the night... They’re almost taking it in like students studying for an exam. I get the sense that this is one or two members in particular that will be really intensely analysing everything... but none of them are going to be just chilling mentally... Their brains are 100% switched on. 

Lastly, with the Eight of Cups and the Page of Wands I get a really nice conclusion to this story... They leave the awards brimming with inspiration and full of creative energy which they’re going to take back home and channel into bigger and better things in their own work. 

All in all, this looks really good for them!
