" just like old times indeed, boss! " it must be strange, to see hermes bearing the colors and sigils of the underworld so openly after being so secretive the entire time they worked together previously. there is the beat of wings when he appears, staff tucked against his body as he offers his boon out to zagreus with the jingle of coin behind it (charon wouldn't mind, not really.) " thought you'd given it a rest, but considering the current situation, i guess you'll be calling on the extended family again, huh? "
"You know me mate, I'll rest when I'm dead and gone."
The young demigod replied, a forced smile on his face, although you could tell the recent events have been taken a toll on him.
Zagreus had to admit, it was odd to have an actual conversation with the God of speed, or any god for that matter. The only time he remember that happening was during the feast, and even that came and went in a flash.
Not that it's bad, Zag liked Hermes, Him and Artemis were the two gods he felt some sort of kinship with, mostly because they don't seem in love with the concept of godhood like the others.
"Especially now when good old grandfather has decided to take my father hostage. Heh... another family drama we gotta deal with. "
"...Speaking of which..." His voice became uncharacteristically serious, his expression rigid, just mentioning her made young Zagreus heart hurt. But he had to know how things are going, he has to know that his sister is safe. "How is Melinoë?"
