This rating was difficult for me. Why I really throughly enjoyed 75% of this, loved most of the characters (mmc overhyped tho), loved the fmc for most of the book. LOVED the side characters. The romantic tension was yummy. The story was good for the most part. But Hart does what is my biggest pet peeve with books and takes the last 10% ish of the book to try and quickly fill all the plot holes in a terribly inorganic way. I will definitely read the second book but will hope that the end of it does not disappoint as this one did.
