in the face of death, i always find it difficult to find the right things to say. nonetheless, all i can do is offer my deepest condolences. i’m sure with all my heart it’s not hurting anymore where she is now and also, take care of yourself. i hope you’re surrounded with people that love and care about you ❤️

Thank you for the kind words.I’d like to believe that too- it’s been a hard, weird week without her here. I’ve been trying to think of ways to memorialize her beyond what I’ve planned to do. Thankfully my roomies are here to help me. They’ve been the best in this situation.

EEEE! So today I got a lovely package from @professorpalmarosa (Though i had honestly thought it would be much later when I would receive them since the postal services can be a butt at times.) and I was graced with a small set of bath bombs! The box smelt so nice and I already used one! I smell and feel pretty good after its use!

Anyways I figured I could share what I got!

( Mom-thy Lemonade ) Goldenscribe 

A bath bomb dedicated towards my own fan character Aburame Kintsugi. 

I was personally very happy to find out that my friend had made a bath bomb off of her. If only because I hadn't and still don't expect many to enjoy her character as they do. 

Bugger Off 

A blend based off of Aburame Shino.

Alright this was the one I used first, mostly because I smelt this one first (which I loved and also my grandmother did so that's a great bonus in my book.) and it's orange, I love the color orange. 

After I got done using it I felt slightly energetic, though that may have been because I was so excited to use it!

K9 out of ten

A blend based off of Inuzuka Kiba.

When I first read what Skye was going to put into this I was in love. It sounded so nice and I really cant wait to try it next time I have a shower! 

Moonlit Maiden

A blend based off of Hyuga Hinata.

The color of this is a lovely purple but I'm sad to say it didn't last in the box very well. I suppose that's rather fitting for Hinata’s more fragile character (especially her younger genin self) in a sense.

Oh deer me

A blend based off of Nara Shikamaru.

When Skye first told me about what happened to its form, having fallen from a full solid into a crumbled batch, I told her it was rather fitting of his character to become so. I still stand by that because even in its brittle state it has an underlying strength to it!

I haven't used it yet but the smell is honestly amazing, it's clean and I personally enjoy that!

Then we have a small assortment of bath bombs based off of characters from the series Imperial doctress. Which I highly recommend you watch, it's my first Historical (k?)Drama and honestly I am rather hooked on it and am nearing the end of it.

Are the four Skye has chosen to base them off of- I can't wait to try them all! Though Mi Lin crumbled and took over the bag almost entirely. Luckily the others were intact fairly well!

When you come up with plot points for characters/pairings/etc and Character B, the most loyal and supportive and what not to Character A finally gives up on them. Just to leave a heartbroken and confused Character A as Character B walks away after quietly taking their support and love away. It hurts both but B has put up with so much and A can but also can't understand why they're giving up on them.

And everything is just kind of left up in the air, does A try to change and prove it? If they do- do they fail? Because B just can't or do they succeed? Winning B back and being family/friends/loves again?

So I was thinking on the beetle hub (or queen bee idea that was posted earlier by a good naru nard) and it got me thinking on the bug fam. Going with the knowledge that there are in fact different variations of beetles that are used amongst the Aburame clan and then going with the idea that the clan head is in fact basically the host of nearly all of the beetle breeds, I say nearly because of Torunē and his beetles which would have literally killed him if it wasn't for the genetic lottery. Does this mean there could be like a interesting like clan system going for them? Where, yes the clan head is most definitely the one who is in charge but what I'm getting at is maybe there are like mini faction leaders to it. Like. One cousin is primarily in charge of this breed, another of this, another of that, and yada yada, and while yes they had Torunē and his father (whom I'm thinking wasn't a main carrier) maybe there are still a few of those deadly beetle users left? So what I'm getting at is maybe there is a council with them too? Like council meetings and shit that are primarily filled with the oldest member of that branch. (Which they know one is going to be gone soon with the fact touch can kill if not trained right??? Still not sure on that thought though) and honestly each branch gets just as coiled as the breeds of insects they love. But again the main responsibility is with the clan head who is (basically the god damn avatar, master of nearly every bug) the one able to hold nearly every single type and control them. In other words I needed to write this down real quick while I could before I forgot.

would you feel that shino would advance to jounin level?

Would I feel that Shino would advance to Jōnin level? In Canon, not likely, simply because of the treatment we see of him and that from what I can tell academy teachers tend to stay as chunnins throughout their careers.

Now unless he decides to quit teaching and go back to full on active ninja duty, I don’t see our dear beetle prince doing that any time soon. Because honestly as much as I personally distain the ending along with the treatments of a majority of the characters. For Shino to have found something so simple yet so worthwhile to consider his dream- and achieve it, is rather nice and I could see it happening even in the manga kinda.

But! I do believe Shino most certainly could be a Jōnin. I could probably also name a few others too, though I figured you would rather have me keep this bug boy related.Shino has been shown in the manga, in the anime, and heck even the movies if you wish to count them (only scene I’m counting as canon from the movies is the scene with Shino coming out of the water as his insects just fucking DEMOLISH AND DESTROY the battle ship to flight of the bumblebee. So fucking badass!) as canon.

Danzo wanted him in his organization since his first few days/weeks/month??? Of the academy because of how much promise he showed. In the forest of death little twelve year old bug boy got his team the scroll with ease, then when the match fights came he blew off his opponents arm -his arm-  which is cool that he used his opponents weapon against him without letting him know until after it happened pretty much. Then when it came to fight Kankuro? Boy gave it his all and mostly just to give Sasuke a chance to get out and do what he had to do! Shino can balance out the weight of his team and his mission pretty damn well, knowing which should usually come first.

We also have to take in the fact that there are two types of Jōnin. A specialist and then a rounded out one.

Now let’s assume you mean the typical Jōnin, not the kind that specializes in a certain form.

Instead of becoming a teacher and having Iruka say something to him, he could have looked towards his own father and been like. “Well my father has been the example I’ve thrived to be for a majority of my life. He is the pride of the clan, a Jōnin who was sent to stop Naruto when he was on the island- even though he failed he was still the first option to do so, he’s been successful in a marginally high percentage of his missions. I could continue to look towards his path and try to prove I’m a worthy successor by doing better then he did- though I’m sure he would continue to claim me as heir regardless of choice.” Which sounds a bit OOC in my opinion but, hey, we are theorizing here.

He could do just that, follow his father’s foot steps but one up him at every turn in a respectful manner. Giving himself a dream to follow - since that is why he mostly became a teacher in the first place he had a dream, a goal- and achieve at. Only when he feels accomplished would he be happy.

But now on to the specialist Jōnin, commonly known as a Tokubetsu Jōnin. He would have to either be known to specialize in one particular area or train to specialize in one particular area.

This one could actually work with canon as he could become a Tokubetsu Jōnin now that I think of it, he could become like Ebisu a specialist in teaching. Which would still go with his dream AND allow him to technically become a Jōnin. Though this would limit him to very few and only particular students which I feel Shino would not be up for. He seems to want to give every kid a chance and not just a certain few.

But there are also other areas he could specialize in, mainly long distance, his clans insect technique, and I mean team 8 already seems to be specialist in tracking if I remember correctly.

But he could most definitely be a Jōnin in MY OPINION, but then again that’s what we have fanfiction writers/artists and alternate universes for- to make that real in a non-canon sense.
