so like. Different artists have different art styles. Same with stuff like fursuit makers and etc. Therefor. People in tokyo ghoul who make quinques likely have different styles. What. What would. What would that be called??? 'Quinque art style'? 'Quinque style'? 'Quinque design style'? Please help i suck at the english language (my only language) and this is very important (its not really that important but i wanna have this silly lil detail) for a fanfic i am writing

I was thinking about how this emphasis on the ccg using melee weapons rather than guns was for the sake of visual storytelling but he other day I came across something that might explain it.

The ghouls of Tokyo ghoul borrow a lot from the ghouls of Arabian folklore and and there's subtle nods to it throughout the series. Most stories of ghouls in popular culture are rooted in depictions of ghouls orientalist literature and were later conflated with the white supremacist appropriation of the Haitian zombi (I could write a whole post on that) whereas Ishida seems to ignore that rendition in tg. Unfortunately I can't read Arabic so my access to resources is limited but one recurring idea I've seen is swords being used to slay ghouls, ideally in one strike.

I'm just here waiting for confirmation as to whether Arata is alive or dead. With the whole infiltration of Cochlea, it would be the perfect time to finally shed some light on this. I mean, up until recently, they were still making quinques out of his kagune and all so he must have still been alive. I really hope he is still alive, I want Ayato to bump into him and have the whole family reunion. Although, knowing Ishida Sui, he would probably be killed off right after ;A;

Estel evento se trata de Tokyo Ghoul Jail del juego salio en Japón que era para PSVita, anteriormente habia salido tambien pero volvio a salir de nuevo eso es bueno , para las personas que necesitan Boostear  en Tokyo ghoul Carnaval aprecen estos personajes que aparcen en Tokyo ghoul Jail , como el agente y su Quinques. 

Con 30 AP : a mi parecer es Facil la Base numero uno y Base numero dos son facil , y despues la Base del boss y ultima es maso menos , lo primero que a mi me funciona es Derrotar primero al Boss inicial ya que usas poderes y que puede matarte poco a poco como Hemorragia , despues derrotar a al Boss principal es matar a Mado Kureo y por ultimo al otro agente. Aveces suelo matar al agente de Color verde ya que esta muy serca cuando se empieza la partida del juego como vemos en la imagen . 

Base del Boss o Base de la Tercera sus vidad son : ( respetando el color que es )  Boss Azul : de 151.737 HP Rojo Mado Kureo: de 93288 HP Verde : de 87660 HP 

Esas son las dos cartas que me tocaron y ya los Bostie al agente , por ahora dentro de un rato voy a traducir las dos cartas del agente y la Quinques .

ok so, today i learned that five in latin is quinque. do you think this means anything?

The first thing I thought was that it made complete sense - quinques are the 5th kind of kagune, after ukaku, koukaku, rinkaku, and bikaku. :D

So Nutcracker was a koukaku-bikaku dual kagune type, with her bikaku being especially notable for its ability to detach and act as traps though automatic sensors. Later, it was said her bikaku is excellent at separating into smaller units and expanding/contracting.

What Chigyou (the researcher who makes the quinques) did was to utilize these characteristics of Nutcracker’s bikaku and meld it with her koukaku, presumably strengthening the structure. The result is a spear-like quinque that expands explosive when it is triggered, in this case hitting Noro.

In one sentence it can be summed up as:

It fits well with Shirazu’s role as the long-distance fighter with his ukaku type. I’m not sure if the Nutcracker quinque has any more tricks, but even this one is very impressive, and possible only with Nutcracker’s unique kagune.
